Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education Certification in Family & Consumer Sciences
  • valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety
  • proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella if born after January 1, 1957

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • ability to obtain Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education Certification in Family & Consumer Sciences

Job Duties

  • Prepare and deliver instructional lessons on commercial baking and pastry arts
  • supervise and mentor students in baking techniques including cookies, cakes, chocolate confections, tarts, breads, and plated desserts
  • facilitate advanced training in specialty areas such as cake decorating, plate painting, individual desserts, and wedding cakes
  • assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure skill development
  • maintain compliance with culinary education standards and accreditation requirements
  • collaborate with faculty and industry professionals to enhance curriculum relevance
  • support students in obtaining industry certifications, internships, and career placement opportunities
