Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
- Ability to obtain Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Family and Consumer Sciences
- Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957
- Availability to work Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Commitment to participate in Arizona State Retirement System plan
- Willingness to comply with EVIT's smoke-free, tobacco-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of commercial baking and pastry arts techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and deliver instructional lessons in commercial baking and pastry arts
- Demonstrate baking techniques including cookies, cakes, breads, and pastries
- Guide students on cake decorating, plate painting, and creating wedding cakes
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain classroom safety and comply with health regulations
- Collaborate with industry partners for internships and student opportunities
- Keep curriculum current with industry trends and certification standards
