Job Requirements
- possession of a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
- less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
- ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds independently
- capability to stand, walk, and remain upright for extended periods
- ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop as required to complete baking tasks
- willingness to adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- capacity to work on slippery or uneven surfaces

Job Duties
- conform to standardized recipes and presentation standards while preparing and baking pastries, breads, and desserts
- measure out, combine, portion, and get ready the components for the daily baking tasks
- ensure the safe operation and maintenance of baking equipment and tools
- keep an eye on ovens and kitchen machinery to ensure the precise cooking periods and heat settings are maintained
- comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
- prepare and dismantle workstations in accordance with kitchen protocols
- guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
- uphold cleanliness, safety, and organization within the bakery/kitchen setting to create a secure and efficient work atmosphere
- converse in a professional manner with fellow team members and guests when required
- be there for your colleagues and contribute to a harmonious team atmosphere
- follow through with extra assignments and responsibilities as mandated by managers
