Job Requirements

  • Must have successfully completed probationary period
  • excellent attendance habits
  • no disciplinary write-ups within past 90 days
  • able to drive in all weather and chain wheels if needed
  • physically capable of loading and unloading heavy items
  • drug-free record
  • ability to work in hot and dusty environments
  • ability to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, scheduled holidays and occasional weekends
  • start times between 5:30 am and 7:30 am
  • able to work up to 12 hours per day

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • good driving record
  • ability to pass DOT physical
  • vision correctable to 20/20
  • good decision-making skills
  • mechanical knowledge for minor truck repairs preferred
  • ability to obtain forklift license within 30 days
  • experience driving large trucks safely
  • ability to lift and push over 100 pounds
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • load trailers with eggs at the hatchery
  • safely transport eggs to farms
  • assist with unloading eggs at farms
  • perform forklift inspections
  • maintain compliance with safety policies
  • attend quarterly fleet-driver meetings
