Job Duties
- Retrieves orders from storeroom
- visually checks stock against requisition with storeroom personnel
- re-checks items with bartender for completeness
- fills request for liquor issue
- cuts stripes and peels perishable garnishes and fruits
- mixes and pours juices according to projected business
- stores back-up supplies in prescribed containers
- maintains cleanliness of bar, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage areas
- washes, racks and stores glasses
- prepares, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per hotel recipes
- checks and assists bartender in maintaining adequate supplies
- transports taps and performs routine maintenance on beer kegs and soda tanks
- scoops and transports ice to service areas
- boxes and saves empty liquor bottles
- receives cash from guests and manages charges and vouchers
- performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- adheres to all relevant liquor regulations
- reports suspicious activities and unsafe conditions
- provides instruction for guest and employee safety during emergencies
- performs other assigned duties
