Job Duties
- assist bartender with cleanliness and stocking of bar
- prepare and set up bar for opening
- prepare garnishes and wash glasses and utensils
- maintain proper stock of bar items
- retrieve and verify orders with storeroom and bartender
- cut, slice and peel garnishes and mix juices
- store backup supplies in refrigeration
- maintain cleanliness of beer lockers and storage areas
- wash, rack and store glasses
- prepare, mix and serve drinks according to recipes
- check and maintain supplies like stir sticks and napkins
- transport taps and perform maintenance on kegs and soda tanks
- scoop and replenish ice
- box and save empty liquor bottles
- handle cash transactions and ensure balanced cash bank
- perform general cleaning tasks
- adhere to liquor regulations
- report suspicious activities and unsafe conditions
- provide safety instructions during emergencies
- perform other assigned duties
