Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
knowledge or experience in lacquer, colors, stain development
ability to see color red, blue, green, yellow
knowledge of wood products such as species, plywood, lumber
strong computer skills
ability to lift 50 pounds
ability to work independently
ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Job Duties

Mixing and matching of stains and pigmented lacquers
perform required quality control checks for all outgoing tinted items
maintain in-depth and detailed records of colors developed as outlined in the Tint Station Operations Manual
stocking items
supporting lacquer specialist and sales team
pull, catalyze, shake and stage truck orders for finish
maintain a clean work environment
keep accurate log of any pour offs of bad material and deposit into the waste drum and keep it labeled appropriately
perform other duties as required and assigned
