Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- some experience in planning and organizing programs and events
- preferred experience with high school or work-related organizations and community service programs
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational skills
- basic knowledge of event planning and promotion
- proficiency in using standard office software
- customer service experience
Job Duties
- Plan and organize tournaments
- decorate for planned events
- post new fliers on campus bulletin boards
- assist in planning programs and projects involving the campus and community
- complete event and program evaluations
- inventory and maintain graphic supplies and storeroom
- promote and assist student clubs and organizations
- maintain and update resource files
- assist student groups with paperwork, forms and requests
- keep records of student club programs and events
- assist with Induction and Pinning ceremonies
- take and maintain photographs of all events
- maintain and secure radios
- provide information for the student newsletter
- maintain display case and bulletin boards, changing as needed
- assist with passive programming and volunteer events
- provide customer service to students
- assist with event needs, including setting up rooms, furniture and audio visual equipment as assigned
- provide recommendations on building and equipment repair
- perform other duties as assigned
