Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to work in hot and noisy kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Inspect and clean food preparation and serving areas to ensure safety and sanitation
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating equipment
  • Check freshness of food and rotate stock according to guidelines
  • Monitor and prepare foods using tasting, smelling, or thermometers
  • Prepare stations according to company guidelines
  • Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Season, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients following recipes
  • Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables for consumption
  • Carve, trim, and prepare meats and seafood for service
  • Assist with inventory and maintain food usage records
  • Communicate with supervisor about kitchen equipment and supplies
  • Adhere to company standards for safety, food handling, and sanitation
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
