Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cold food preparation
- Ability to handle slicing machines and various food preparation tools
- Availability to work full time or part time with flexible schedule including weekends
- Ability to follow HACCP food safety standards and ServSafe procedures
- Capacity to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work environment
- Ability to lift and carry pans, kettles, and trays of food
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of similar experience
- Ability to use slicing machine and knives efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and ServSafe
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from chef
- Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator
- Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
- Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas
- Use slicing machine to cut meats, cheeses and vegetables to designated thickness
- Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- Maintain clean, safe work environment in compliance with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
