Job Requirements
- Previous culinary experience required
- Part-time availability Monday through Thursday
- Ability to work varying hours as scheduled
- Must be able to follow HACCP and ServSafe guidelines
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Must comply with company safety and food handling policies
- Capable of physical tasks involved in food preparation and service
Job Qualifications
- Previous culinary experience
- Ability to use slicing machine and knives safely and effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and ServSafe
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow production schedules and quality standards
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to carry food trays and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from chef
- Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator
- Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
- Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas
- Cut slices of meat, cheese or vegetables to designated thickness using slicing machine or knives
- Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
