Job Requirements

  • Prior cold food prep experience
  • Ability to operate slicing machines
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work full-time schedule Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Ability to comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cold food prep experience
  • Ability to operate slicing machines and relevant kitchen equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and ServSafe
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow production schedules and portion controls
  • Basic food preparation skills

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from chef
  • Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines
  • Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator
  • Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas
  • Operate slicing machine to cut meats and cheeses to designated thickness
  • Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
  • Maintain clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
