Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food preparation, especially cold food or deli items
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Basic knowledge of portion control and food handling standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from chef
- Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator
- Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
- Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in preparation and serving areas
- Cut slices of meat, cheese or vegetables to designated thickness using slicing machine
- Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- Maintain clean and safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
