Job Duties
- Recruit, hire, and supervise qualified personnel when positions become available
- prepare, monitor and manage the coffeebar's staffing levels and schedule
- identify opportunities to increase efficiency without sacrificing operations
- maintain accurate records and paperwork including daily sales results, monthly inventory, cash drawer reconciliation, personnel records and employment documentation
- participate in the development of the coffeebar’s annual budget, and identify quarterly goals and objectives
- ensure cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of the coffeebar’s interior and exterior
- maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely response and deliveries
- plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to staff to achieve operational goals
- continuously review the coffeebar’s operations to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- review monthly financial reports with your supervisor to identify and address trends and issues in coffeebar performance
- suggest and implement new initiatives to increase quality and profitability, streamline labor and systems, and increase morale
- work with coffeebar staff to ensure confidence in drink preparation skills
- ensure training stays on track until full capability is achieved
- collaborate with Retail Leadership to manage training and regular schedules
- identify and support future leaders within the coffeebar
- adhere to all cash handling policies and ensure staff compliance
- ensure new employees complete cash handling policies test within 30 days
- maintain accurate payroll and labor records
- maintain strong floor presence and cultivate attentive customer service
- demonstrate calm demeanor during peak periods
- hold quarterly staff meetings and maintain open communication
- assess and coach staff performance regularly
