Job Requirements

- prior experience in a coffee shop or similar environment preferred
- strong customer service skills
- basic understanding of coffee brewing techniques
- ability to operate and maintain coffee equipment
- good organizational and inventory management skills
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Welcoming customers and understanding their coffee preferences to provide tailored recommendations
- providing in-depth knowledge of the coffee drink menu and answering customer inquiries
- demonstrating the unique qualities of different coffee beans and brewing equipment to assist in sales
- preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes while adhering to established recipes and techniques
- attracting new customers and growing sales by offering exciting new services and products
- managing inventory by ensuring coffee bean supplies, brewing equipment, and pastries are adequately stocked
- maintaining the functionality of equipment through proper use, troubleshooting, and regular preventive maintenance
- upholding a clean and safe working environment by following sanitation regulations and organizational standards
- enhancing quality by evaluating and refining processes and continuously improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar
- staying informed on industry trends by participating in educational opportunities and engaging with coffee-related literature
- contributing to the positive reputation of the coffee shop by embracing new challenges and seeking opportunities to enhance offerings
