Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior customer service experience preferred
- basic math skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- food handling certification or willingness to obtain
- ability to stand for long periods
- compliance with company dress code
- ability to use POS/register systems
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service preferred
- experience handling cash is a plus
- barista experience not essential but advantageous
- solid foundation in elementary arithmetic and counting proficiency
- ability to work independently with limited supervision
- strong English reading, communication, and recipe adherence skills
- completion of Food Handling Certification required
- compliance with specified attire guidelines
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
Job Duties
- Utilize a register/POS system for managing transactions, including cash and credit card payments with accuracy
- acknowledge and assist patrons, anticipating their needs
- comply with brand standards in preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
- prepare and serve food items according to establishment guidelines
- organize and oversee cash drawer funds, complete cashier slips, and handle deposits
- establish and break down coffee bar, workstations, or retail space prioritizing cleanliness and organization
- sanitize equipment regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic work area
