Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a register/POS system accurately
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Capability to work full-time hours
- Adherence to Aramark's policies and procedures
- Physical ability to manage daily work requirements including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic proficiency in English for communication and understanding instructions
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- Experience dealing with cash previously is a plus
- Barista experience is not essential but considered an advantage
- Solid foundation in elementary arithmetic and counting proficiencies
- Skill in functioning alone with limited supervision
- Skills in English reading, communication, and recipe adherence
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Compliance with specified attire guidelines
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Utilize a register/POS system for managing transactions, including cash and credit card payments, with accuracy
- Acknowledge and aid patrons, foreseeing their wants to create a favorable encounter
- Comply with the brand's expectations in the preparation and service of coffee, tea, and specialized beverages
- Ensure that the food items are prepared and served in line with the establishment's guidelines
- Organize and oversee the cash drawer's funds, complete the cashier slip, and manage deposit tasks
- Adhere strictly to the guidelines and procedures for cash management set by Aramark
- Establish and break down coffee bar, workstations, or retail space with a priority on cleanliness and organized structure
