Job Requirements
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Ability to use a POS system accurately
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic and counting
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills in English
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
- Adherence to dress code and hygiene standards
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment when necessary
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- Experience dealing with cash previously is a plus
- Barista experience is not essential but is a plus
- A solid foundation in elementary arithmetic and counting proficiencies is necessary
- Skill in functioning alone with limited supervision
- Skills in English reading, communication, and recipe adherence
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Compliance with specified attire guidelines
- Physical ability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Successfully utilize a register/POS system for managing transactions, including cash and credit card payments, with accuracy
- Acknowledge and aid patrons, foreseeing their wants to create a favorable encounter
- Comply with the brand's expectations in the preparation and service of coffee, tea, and specialized beverages
- Ensure that the food items are prepared and served in line with the establishment's guidelines
- Organize and oversee the cash drawer's funds, complete the cashier slip, and manage deposit tasks
- Adhere strictly to the guidelines and procedures for cash management set by Aramark
- Establish and break down coffee bar, workstations, or retail space with a priority on cleanliness and organized structure
- Regularly sanitize equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic work area
- Keep beverage refrigerators, on-the-go snacks, serving essentials, and sauces fully stocked
- Follow recommended protocols for food and drink handling to maintain sanitation and avoid potential hazards
- Execute extra duties assigned by the management team
