Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Ability to operate register/POS system accurately
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Good basic math and counting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong English reading and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Adherence to company attire and PPE guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- Experience dealing with cash is a plus
- Barista experience is not essential but considered a plus
- Solid foundation in elementary arithmetic and counting proficiencies
- Skill in functioning alone with limited supervision
- Skills in English reading, communication, and recipe adherence
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Compliance with specified attire guidelines
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Utilize register/POS system for managing transactions including cash and credit card payments with accuracy
- Acknowledge and aid patrons foreseeing their wants to create a favorable encounter
- Comply with the brand's expectations in preparation and service of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
- Ensure food items are prepared and served according to establishment's guidelines
- Organize and oversee cash drawer funds, complete cashier slip, and manage deposit tasks
- Adhere strictly to cash management guidelines and procedures set by Aramark
- Establish and break down coffee bar, workstations, or retail space prioritizing cleanliness and organization
- Regularly sanitize equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic work area
- Keep beverage refrigerators, snacks, serving essentials, and sauces fully stocked
- Follow protocols for food and drink handling to maintain sanitation and avoid hazards
- Execute extra duties assigned by management team
