Job Requirements

Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred
Familiarity with café operations is a plus
Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads as needed

Job Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with strong cash handling skills
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
Assist in food service tasks such as serving cooked foods and pastries to customers
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
