Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Food Handling Certification completion is mandatory
- Must comply with company dress code
- Physical capability to meet job demands including lifting and standing
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Strong communication skills in English
- Willingness to follow safety protocols including PPE usage
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- A history of handling cash is beneficial
- Previous barista experience is not required
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic and numerical counting skills is indispensable
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal guidance
- Proficient English reading and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Completion of Food Handling Certification is mandatory
- Compliance with dress regulations
- Physical ability to perform activities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Efficiently handle payment processing using a register/POS system including cash and credit card transactions
- Extend a friendly welcome and aid to clients predicting their needs to create a satisfactory interaction
- Abide by the brand's rules for making and serving coffee, tea, and unique beverages
- Carry out the cooking and serving of dishes to meet the expectations of the facility
- Organize and oversee the cash drawer's funds, complete the cashier slip, and manage deposit tasks
- Respect and conform to Aramark's regulations and protocols for handling cash transactions
- Establish and break down coffee bar, workstations, or retail space with a priority on cleanliness and organized structure
- Maintain a hygienic workplace by routinely disinfecting and cleaning equipment
- Have a ready supply of beverage coolers, grab-and-go selections, serving tools, and condiments
- Adhere to recommended practices for food and drink handling to prevent health risks and maintain cleanliness in preparation areas
- Follow through with any other duties as designated by those in charge
