Job Requirements
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- possess the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- must be able to perform medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- must maintain punctuality and adhere to company policies and dress codes

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- learn and use customers' names whenever possible
- assist customers by escorting to products, securing out of reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service including taking customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handle food safely and ensure work area is clean and neat
- review food freshness and follow production list
- anticipate product needs and prepare replenishments
- check in products and put them away
- run registers and handle payments where applicable
- remove trash promptly
- maintain adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adhere to company policies and be punctual
- wash dishes as necessary
- order products and supplies
- price products for customers
- assist in other store areas as needed
- perform other job related duties and special projects
