Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Visual requirements including clarity of vision, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Employment contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service exhibiting care, concern and patience
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Make an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name
- Assist customers by escorting, securing products, loading/unloading items, noting suggestions and enhancing shopping experience
- Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service including taking orders
- Take customer orders at the counter
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle food safely and maintain a clean work area
- Review food freshness and ensure adequate supply is ready
- Follow production lists and anticipate product needs daily
- Prepare and replenish product as necessary
- Check in and put away product, review invoices if applicable
- Run registers and handle payments where applicable
- Remove trash timely
- Adhere to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- Follow company policies and store guidelines
- Report to work on time and as scheduled
