Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Must be able to carry out detailed but uninvolved verbal or written instructions
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Must be able to work night and weekend shifts
  • Must be punctual and adhere to company policies
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
  • Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Learn customers’ names and address them by name
  • Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing hard-to-reach items, and loading/unloading heavy items
  • Answer the telephone and take customer orders
  • Take customer orders at the counter
  • Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Handle food safely and maintain a clean work area
  • Review food for freshness
  • Prepare and replenish products as necessary
  • Check in product and put away
  • Operate registers and handle payment
  • Remove trash timely
  • Maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies and report to work on time
