Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of barista experience in specialty or 2 years in non-specialty coffee
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
- proficiency in operating POS systems
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to uphold company grooming and hygiene standards

- minimum one year experience as a barista in specialty coffee or two years in high-volume non-specialty coffee
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- experience with point of sale systems

- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment maintenance
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
- manage coffee shop equipment and tool cleaning and maintenance
- complete transactions accurately and follow safety and security measures
- maintain consistent espresso extraction per brew ratios
- educate customers on menu items and upsell
- train and acclimate baristas in training
- contribute to workflow and operational innovations
- foster a cohesive team environment aligned with company culture
- report supplier issues promptly
- deliver efficient, high-quality products
- perform regular audits and ensure correct extraction
- manage coffee product rotation, ordering and quantity to minimize waste
- maintain cleanliness and restock stations
- complete opening and closing store procedures
- maintain grooming and appearance standards
- provide fast and accurate service
- engage with customers with enthusiasm and recognition
