- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions

- Ability to request supplies orally or in writing

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Learn and address customers by name when possible
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions or requests, enhancing shopping experience
- Answer telephone promptly and provide helpful service including taking orders
- Take customer orders at the counter
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness and neatness of work area
- Review food freshness and appearance
- Ensure adequate food supply and follow production list
- Anticipate daily product needs and replenish products
- Check in and put away products, review invoices when applicable
- Operate registers, manage payments and give change
- Remove trash timely
- Adhere to personal hygiene, dress standards, and company policies
- Report to work as scheduled and on time
- Wash dishes as necessary
- Order products and supplies
- Price products
- Assist in other store areas as needed
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
