Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Availability to work night and weekend shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities like climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and dress guidelines
Job Qualifications

- Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills including simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow instructions

- Familiarity with food safety practices
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- Answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service
- Take customer orders at the counter
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle food safely and maintain a clean work area
- Review food freshness and ensure adequate food supply
- Prepare and replenish products as necessary
- Check in product and put away
- Run department registers and handle payments
- Remove trash timely
- Adhere to personal hygiene, dress code, and company policies
- Report to work on time
- Wash dishes as necessary
- Order products and supplies
- Price products
- Assist in other store areas when needed
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects
