Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- must be able to perform medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- able to maintain personal hygiene and follow company dress guidelines
- employment contingent on successful pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- answers the telephone promptly and takes customer orders
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handles food safely and maintains cleanliness of work area
- reviews food freshness and ensures adequate food supply
- prepares and replenishes products
- checks in and stores product
- operates department registers and handles payments
- removes trash timely
- adheres to personal hygiene, dress, company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders product and supplies
- prices products
- assists in other store areas
- performs other job related duties and special projects
