- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by showing caring, concern and patience
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name when possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service including taking customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work collaboratively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- handle food safely and maintain a clean and neat work area
- review food status and appearance for freshness
- ensure adequate food supply is ready and follow production lists
- anticipate daily product needs for the department
- prepare and replenish products as necessary
- check in product, put it away, and review invoices
- operate department registers and process payments where applicable
- remove trash promptly
- maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress policies
- comply with company policies and store guidelines
- report to work on time when scheduled
- wash dishes as necessary
- order product and supplies when needed
- price products for customers
- assist in other store areas as needed
- perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
