Job Requirements
- Completion of Food Handling Certification
- Basic math skills and ability to count
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills in English
- Adherence to dress code
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing
- Compliance with PPE usage
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service skills are an asset
- Previous experience with cash management is preferred
- Prior work as a barista is preferred but not compulsory
- Understanding of basic math principles and counting techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to comprehend written English, communicate effectively, and follow culinary instructions
- Food Handling Certification is mandatory
- Adherence to dress standards is required
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Expertly handle cash and credit card transactions through the operation of a register/POS system with precision
- Provide a warm welcome and support to customers, foreseeing their needs to ensure a pleasant experience
- Execute the brand's criteria while making and providing coffee, tea, and distinctive drinks to customers
- Execute the cooking and serving of dishes as per the standards mandated by the establishment
- Balance and manage the cash drawer, document transaction details on the cashier's slip, and execute deposit procedures
- Stick to the cash handling policies and procedures outlined by Aramark
- Organize and disassemble coffee bar, designated areas, or retail facility, paying attention to cleanliness and systematic layout
- Ensure that the workspace is sanitary and organized through frequent cleaning and disinfection of equipment
- Supply beverage coolers, convenient snacks, service items, and condiment options
- Observe all health and safety protocols during food and drink preparation to safeguard against potential risks and maintain cleanliness
- Perform supplementary tasks as required by superiors
