Job Requirements
- Strong personal commitment to the Catholic faith and understanding of Catholic culture and values
- 2+ years of experience in food service or café management preferred
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead with hospitality and a service mindset
- Basic understanding of budgeting inventory management and scheduling
- Flexible schedule including some evenings or weekends for events

Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures inventory management and vendor relations
- Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain a clean inviting atmosphere
- Develop and implement efficient workflows for baristas bakers and all support staff
- Manage the point-of-sale system and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Solicit for volunteers train and schedule baristas and staff with attention to hospitality and mission alignment
- Lead occasional volunteer staff meetings and foster a culture of service hospitality gratitude and teamwork
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement for team members
- Ensure that the Upper Room reflects Catholic values in both atmosphere and programming
- Collaborate with parish staff or ministry leaders to host events such as Bible studies Theology on Tap or community outreach
