Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Cash handling experience desirable
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent English communication skills
- Food Handling Certification or willingness to obtain
- Adherence to dress code
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing
- Willingness to wear PPE as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Experience in cash handling is encouraged
- Barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Basic mathematics and counting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English for reading, communication, and recipe understanding
- Food Handling Certification in accordance with standards
- Ability to follow dress code requirements
- Physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
Job Duties
- Manage a register/POS system to process payments accurately and efficiently
- Greet and assist customers ensuring a satisfying experience
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to brand standards
- Prepare and present food items meeting location standards
- Maintain cash drawer, complete cashier documentation, and process bank deposits
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Organize and clean coffee bar and designated areas
- Regularly sanitize equipment and maintain workplace cleanliness
- Stock beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, utensils, and sauces
- Follow health and safety guidelines during food and beverage preparation
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors
