Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Food Handling Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift, bend, push, and pull as needed
- Willingness to comply with PPE requirements and dress code
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service skills
- Experience in cash handling preferred
- Basic barista experience is an asset
- Proficient in basic math and counting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English for reading, communication, and following recipes
- Food Handling Certification as per standards
- Adherence to designated dress code
- Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing
- Familiarity with PPE use if required
Job Duties
- Manage a register/POS system to process payments accurately and efficiently
- Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and distinctive drinks according to brand standards
- Prepare and present food items following location standards
- Maintain accuracy of cash drawer and complete cashier documentation
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Organize and clean the coffee bar and designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness
- Regularly sanitize equipment and work areas
- Stock beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, utensils, and sauces
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain food and beverage hygiene
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
