Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or related field preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to follow dress code and safety policies
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Experience in cash handling is encouraged
- Barista experience is advantageous but not required
- Proficient in basic math and counting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English reading, communication, and recipe comprehension
- Food handling certification as per standard requirements
- Ability to adhere to assigned dress code
- Physical capability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE) if required
Job Duties
- Manage a register/POS system to process cash and credit card payments efficiently and accurately
- Greet customers and anticipate their needs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to brand standards
- Prepare and present food items following the location's standards
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy and complete cashier documentation
- Adhere to Aramark cash handling policies and procedures
- Clean and organize the coffee bar and designated areas maintaining cleanliness and order
- Stock beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, utensils, and sauces
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and maintain a sanitary environment
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
