Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service is preferred
- basic math skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Food Handling Certification required
- ability to work full-time hours
- excellent communication skills in English
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- willingness to comply with dress code and PPE requirements
- physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
Job Qualifications
- Having prior experience in customer service is advantageous
- experience in handling cash in the past is desired
- while having barista experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory
- proficiency in fundamental mathematics and numerical abilities is essential
- capability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- proficiency in English reading, communication, and recipe adherence is required
- it is mandatory to obtain Food Handling Certification as per regulations
- compliance with the specified dress regulations is mandatory
- physical requirements could involve tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing
- wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) might be necessary
Job Duties
- Skillfully manage a register/POS system to process payments efficiently and accurately, including cash and credit card transactions
- welcome and support clients, predicting their requirements to guarantee a pleasant interaction
- follow the established guidelines to prepare and present coffee, tea, and specialty drinks in accordance with the brand's requirements
- follow the specified guidelines to cook and present dishes in accordance with the requirements of the establishment
- prepare and maintain the cash register, complete the cashier's report, and handle bank transactions
- follow Aramark's guidelines and regulations for managing cash transactions
- arrange and dismantle coffee bar, work areas, or shop in a manner that maintains cleanliness and orderliness
- keep the workspace tidy and hygienic by regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- stock up on beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, serving utensils, and sauces
- adhere to all regulations for the preparation of food and beverages to ensure health and safety standards are met
- carry out any additional tasks delegated by supervisors
