Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in grocery retail or supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Availability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in cooler and freezer environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to following Company and Government regulations and standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- Ability to understand and follow verbal, written, or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies both orally and in writing
- Visual clarity for distances less than 20 inches to 20 feet including color vision and depth perception
- Ability to read product descriptions and shelf tags accurately
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- Train, coach, supervise, and evaluate grocery associates
- Maintain performance standards within the Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments
- Supervise and participate in all activities related to these departments
- Act as store supervisor in the absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- Monitor and enforce all Government and Company regulations
- Maintain high levels of customer service
- Handle multiple priorities effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
