Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or grocery experience preferred
- ability to work in cold environments
- ability to handle physical demands of the role
- strong communication skills
- ability to supervise and manage a team
- willing to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must comply with all company policies and applicable laws
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- visual acuity with clarity of vision from less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, including color vision and depth perception
- ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags
- flexibility to work shifts of varying lengths and times including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Grocery associates
- maintain performance standards
- supervise and participate in all Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen activities
- supervise store in the absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
- handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
