Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or grocery experience preferred
- ability to work in cold environments including cooler and freezer
- capability to handle physical tasks including use of sharp knives
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- excellent communication skills
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
- ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise
- ability to work shifts varying in length and times including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Grocery associates
- maintain performance standards
- supervise and participate in all Grocery, Dairy and Frozen activities
- supervise store in the absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
- handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
