Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or grocery supervisory experience preferred
- ability to work in cold storage environments
- ability to use sharp tools safely
- capacity to handle physical demands of the job including standing for long periods
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- visual acuity including clarity of vision at distances from less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, color vision, and depth perception
- ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise
- ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Grocery associates
- maintain performance standards
- supervise and participate in Grocery, Dairy and Frozen activities
- supervise store in the absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
