Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in retail or grocery environment preferred
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- basic math skills
- ability to comply with all company and government safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented
- ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
- ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise properly
- flexibility to work shifts varying in length and times including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- train, coach, supervise, and evaluate grocery associates
- maintain performance standards
- supervise and participate in all grocery, dairy, and frozen activities
- supervise store in absence of Store Director or Assistant Store Director
- monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
- handle multiple priorities while maintaining customer service levels
