Job Qualifications

- basic familiarity with cash handling and POS systems beneficial
Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing tasks including organizing provisions and necessary tools
- clean equipment and areas
- lock doors securely
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the MICROS system and process customer payments
- take orders and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at proper times
- clean tables and café cart areas
- keep dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment clean throughout the day
- obtain change needed for transaction levels
- compute cash at the end of the shift
- complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies
- secure cash register and receipts
- comply with company safety policies and report maintenance or safety issues
- maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform
- support team members and treat colleagues with respect
- move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for long periods
- use clear and professional communication with guests and coworkers
- assist with other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
