Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Commitment to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with various coffee beans and blends helpful
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and maintaining a clean work area
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- Prior cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and more
- Engage with customers taking orders and providing recommendations based on preferences
- Create latte art and ensure each drink is beautifully presented
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure coffee quality and freshness
- Upsell pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued
