Job Duties
- Manage onsite classroom technology including a computer to initiate Zoom Program sessions, Owl camera, Chromebooks, and monitor for class projection
- Collaborate and communicate with Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager regularly
- Manage the on-site operation of the Code/IT Academy cohort
- Monitor attendance, engagement, and academic progress with proactive outreach
- Coordinate food, drinks, and room set-up for class
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that prioritizes peer engagement and career outcomes
- Address any issues with participants during the class and alert Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager in writing of those issues
- Be a continuous supporter for students and the Program, including a bi-weekly check in with each of the students, and regular reports back the Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager
- Be present at each class during the duration of the 12-weeks series
- Provide ongoing communication and support for Program goals and provide feedback to Ivy Tech Program Manager on classes, participants and Program issues, as those may arise from time-to-time
- Be available to respond to inquiries, questions and provide Program information upon reasonable request, including by Ivy Tech.
