Job Duties

  • Manage onsite classroom technology including a computer to initiate Zoom Program sessions, Owl camera, Chromebooks, and monitor for class projection
  • Collaborate and communicate with Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager regularly
  • Manage the on-site operation of the Code/IT Academy cohort
  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and academic progress with proactive outreach
  • Coordinate food, drinks, and room set-up for class
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that prioritizes peer engagement and career outcomes
  • Address any issues with participants during the class and alert Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager in writing of those issues
  • Be a continuous supporter for students and the Program, including a bi-weekly check in with each of the students, and regular reports back the Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager
  • Be present at each class during the duration of the 12-weeks series
  • Provide ongoing communication and support for Program goals and provide feedback to Ivy Tech Program Manager on classes, participants and Program issues, as those may arise from time-to-time
  • Be available to respond to inquiries, questions and provide Program information upon reasonable request, including by Ivy Tech.
