Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant server role preferred
- Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks
- Must have basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- Able to physically stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- Able to frequently reach, bend, and stoop
- Able to deliver plates and clear tables which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes
- Completion and passing of Florida Responsible Vendor program
- Completion and passing of food safety certification program
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and food/drink running as needed
- Be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus, promotions, and specials
- Accurately write down guests' orders and enter into POS system in a timely manner
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests promptly
- Assess guests' demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager
- Collect guests' payments, ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, and deliver correct change promptly
- Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
- Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests
