Job Requirements
- Be at least the minimum legal age for serving or handling alcoholic beverages according to local regulations
- be approachable and maintain courteous friendly attitude even during busy periods
- available to work various shifts including weekdays evenings and weekends
- able to flourish in a lively fast-paced setting with moderate to high background noise
- capable of understanding and effectively communicating instructions and information
- able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- able to stand or walk for entire duration of shift
- able to frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness and stock
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in bar support or similar role preferred
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- basic knowledge of bar supplies and beverage preparation
- ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- understanding of responsible alcohol service regulations
- ability to follow instructions and multitask efficiently
Job Duties
- Contributes significantly to providing excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment enhancing overall guest experience
- keeps bartender and supervisor promptly informed of low stock spills or equipment issues taking immediate action or suggesting resolutions
- replenishes bar essentials prepares drink garnishes and ensures ice supplies are adequate minimizing guest wait times
- maintains positive and helpful demeanor supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs during peak periods
- aids with guest inquiries communicates information to bartender and ensures bar environment is clean and organized
- supports bartender by retrieving necessary ingredients glassware and other items
- promptly collects used glassware and keeps bar area neat and organized throughout service
