Job Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for serving or handling alcohol
- Be approachable and maintain a courteous and friendly attitude
- Be available to work various shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Understand and communicate instructions effectively
- Be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently within bar area and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for entire work shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces
- Comply with company rules regarding alcohol service and safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate and work as a part of a team
- Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage service is beneficial
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and guest-focused approach
Job Duties
- Provide excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment experiences
- Keep bartenders and supervisors informed of low stock levels, spills, or malfunctions
- Efficiently replenish bar essentials, prepare garnishes, and maintain ice supplies
- Maintain a positive and helpful demeanor, anticipating bartender needs during busy times
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure bar cleanliness and organization
- Quickly retrieve ingredients, glassware, and other items for bartenders
- Collect used glassware promptly and keep bar area neat
- Alert bartenders or managers to guest concerns
- Comply with company alcohol service and safety guidelines
- Stock and arrange bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- Assist with periodic inventory checks
- Check and replenish supplies before, during, and after service
- Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage
- Provide assistance to other team members for smooth operations
- Foster positive working relationships with all team members
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for alcohol service
