Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirements for serving or handling alcoholic beverages according to local regulations
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work various shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to stand or walk for entire work shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and courteous attitude
- Capability to work efficiently in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a bar support or hospitality role preferred
- Basic understanding of beverage preparation and bar operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to maintain a courteous and friendly attitude during busy periods
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform duties involving lifting and standing
- Legal age to serve or handle alcohol according to local regulations
Job Duties
- Contributes significantly to providing excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, enhancing guest experience
- Keeps bartender and supervisor informed of low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting resolutions
- Efficiently replenishes bar essentials, prepares drink garnishes, and ensures ice supplies are adequate to minimize guest wait times
- Maintains positive and helpful demeanor while supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs during peak periods
- Aids with guest inquiries by communicating information to bartenders and ensuring the bar environment is clean and organized
- Supports bartenders by retrieving necessary ingredients, glassware, and other required items quickly and efficiently
- Ensures used glassware is promptly collected and bar area remains neat and organized
- Alerts bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns observed at the bar
- Complies with company rules regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
- Stocks and arranges all bar-related supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- Assists with periodic inventory checks of bar stock
- Checks and replenishes all required bar supplies before, during, and after service and reports shortages
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the entire bar area including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage areas
- Provides assistance to other team members as required to ensure seamless overall operations
- Fosters positive working relationships with all team members to cultivate a supportive and productive atmosphere
