Job Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to A.B.C. § 4.1-307
- 1 - 2 years server experience in a full service restaurant
- Excellent public contact skills to include tact, courtesy and patience
- Ability to meet the standards listed
- Ability to satisfy customers under all circumstances
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read and write, perform basic mathematical computations and memorize the food and beverages offered
- Ability to learn and communicate relevant dining information to guests
- Physical requirements include bending, lifting, stooping
- carrying trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- extensive use of stairs
- Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County food handler’s card and TIPS certification
- Applicants with an active card and certification should be prepared to present both during the interview process
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests hospitably and serve them efficiently providing proper food and beverage service
- Learn and describe menu items to guests including chef specials
- Suggest wine and other beverages
- Responsible for standard table set-up procedures and cleanliness of the dining room
- Other duties as required
