Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous serving experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • familiarity with service bar and bar combination
  • possession of unexpired TABC permit or ability to obtain upon hire
  • ability to work in a fast paced luxury hotel lobby bar environment
  • maintain professional appearance and demeanor

  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • must have strong communication skills
  • must be familiar with a service bar atmosphere combination with bar
  • must have an unexpired TABC permit or ability to obtain one upon hire
  • must be comfortable in a fast paced luxury hotel lobby bar environment
  • maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance

Job Duties

  • Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient service area of the bar throughout the shift
  • perform guest services using the Moments of Service guidelines
  • ring orders into Micros and deliver orders to tables
  • deliver food orders from kitchen to bar area and return dishes to kitchen
  • continually check back with guests
  • keep all supplies stocked
  • clean, clear and reset service areas
  • protect the hotel from liability with regard to over serving guests
  • complete all duties as assigned by manager
  • assist bartender when needed
  • ensure tables are set up properly
  • aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel
  • attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
  • familiarize with food and drink menus
  • adhere to cash handling standards
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • ensure clean uniform and professional appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • follow all safety and security policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
