Job Requirements

Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
have previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service
possess strong knowledge in alcohol service and Food Handler certifications
have excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
possess a high school diploma, GED, or some college experience or degree recommended
be TIPS certified or willing to become certified within 30 days of hire
hold a current Food Handlers card
have previous similar experience in a professional setting preferred

Job Duties

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
set tables according to service standards
answer questions on menu selections to guests
communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recooking orders, and product availability
communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
record transaction in the POS system at time of order
check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
complete opening and closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
present physical and accurate check to guests, and process payments accordingly in a timely manner
ensure uniform and personal appearance are always clean and professional
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
run food and bus tables when required ensuring a flawless service
anticipate and address guests' service needs
speak with others using clear and professional language
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
thank guests with genuine appreciation
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
